“In the field of dawah one needs to have the right knowledge. If one does not have the right knowledge he will have nothing to share with others.
If one has knowledge but he does not hold it in sufficient depth then he will also face difficulty; for if a new question arises then he will not be able to handle the situation.
If one has the right knowledge but not the right understanding, then instead of being a means of guidance he will be a means of deviance.
Thus one needs the right knowledge, in the right depth with the right understanding.
And finally for one’s dawah to be effective he needs to be on the right path himself and thus practice that which he preaches.”
