Indeed, a true gem for us all, from our respected Shaykh hafizahullah:
“The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam forbade all those things that would disunite the ummah and encouraged all those things that would unite the ummah. He sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam united the ummah, left it united and left behind instructions on how to keep united.
The implication of this is that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wasallam desired that we remain united. So should we not make every effort to fulfil this desire?”
